Training Programs

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, more commonly known as CPR, is a life-saving technique that helps maintain blood flow to the brain and heart in an emergency situation. The goal of CPR training is to provide individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency.

Child and/or Infant CPR is a lifesaving procedure that is done when a child's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. This may happen after drowning, suffocation, choking, or an injury. The classes have been found to be acceptable for meeting requirements established by state child care licensing, a wide variety of professional state and federal agencies, associations, councils, academies, boards and businesses.

Having personnel on-site that are expertly trained in the use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED) provides the victim with rapid defibrillation access before EMS arrival, greatly increasing the chance of survival. Training includes recognition of unresponsive victims, review of equipment operation and maintenance, discussion of treatment and valuable hands-on practice designed to increase skills.

First Aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary or lifelong disability for the victim. Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reactions, diabetic and seizures is shared. Standard First Aid is the most popular program offered. This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).

Essential First Aid covers fundamental skills to manage common injuries and medical emergencies until professional help arrives. This course empowers individuals to provide immediate and appropriate care in various situations, promoting safety and potentially preventing conditions from worsening.

Stop the Bleed is a national White House initiated awareness campaign and call-to-action. Due to an uptick in mass shootings, terror attacks and national disasters, the Government is calling on civilians to learn how to treat severe bleeding.

This program includes information that will help students understand what Bloodborne Pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).

Workplace violence is the act or threat of violence, ranging from verbal abuse to physical assaults directed toward persons at work or on duty. The impact of workplace violence can range from psychological issues to physical injury, or even death. This training covers company policies and definitions of harassment, what to do if violence or harassment is witnessed.
